- Merlin, looks like this is a spoof account; take a look at how the URL actually shows up in your browser's URL field, compared to the real User:JamesRifkin. Sneeky! --AP 14:20, 27 May 2005 (EDT)
- Tasty sleuthing. Thanks. But did that URL go anyplace for you? --Merlin 14:44, 27 May 2005 (EDT)
- Didn't bother following it; was probably just someone messing around. Have a look in Special:Listusers, right at the very end of the J-users and you'll see where this spoof account appears alphabetically. Looks like MediaWiki treats percent-encoded characters differently/distinctly from the plain-text characters. --AP 15:02, 27 May 2005 (EDT)

- Tricksy. Like Mr. A says, I'm innocent your honor. Some dirty rat is trying to smear my good name. At least he did it creatively... --JamesRifkin 15:16, 27 May 2005 (EDT)
- Just as we thought. :) Pretty clever though, you gotta admit. --Merlin 00:12, 28 May 2005 (EDT)
