I'm a systems administrator currently living in Houston, Texas.
I reside there with my wife Amy, dog Max, and three cats.

When I'm not maintaining large numbers of UNIX and Linux systems for a large oil and gas services firm,
I'm working on SunHELP, MacHELP, or my weblog, Another Word for Nerd.

Despite running one of the largest third-party resources for Sun Microsystems information
on the Internet, I'm an all-Mac guy at home. I started out with a G4 Cube in 2001,
upgraded to a PowerMac G4 in 2002, and replaced it with an iMac G5 in November 2004.
August 2004 saw the arrival of my first Mac portable, an 800Mhz 12.1" iBook G4.
