Another Windows page lacking a statement of relevance to OS X -- Fraserspeirs 07:36, 21 Mar 2005 (EST)

I, for one, would like to see more background on ActiveWords. I've seen it demoed and it's a good app (often compared to Quicksilver), but it isn't available to Mac users at all. Any chance we can see some more descriptive language on why this is a good thing and what we can all learn from how it's put together? Good habits it encourages? --Merlin 08:42, 21 Mar 2005 (EST)

What kind of background would you like? We think ActiveWords is vastly more powerful than QS, and would love to find someone who might be interested in working with us to port ActiveWords to the Mac. We can requests for a Mac version on a daily basis [[User:Buzz Bruggeman{Buzzmodo]] 03/23/2005 at 07:00 PM

Buzz, when will you come out of your shell about ActiveWords. ;-)
I think it would be valuable for you to add some (uncharacteristically neutral) information about Active Words to the main page. I know that it's very popular with tons of Windows users, and actually has some very Vim-like qualities that may surprise a lot of Mac users.
Whether its's "vastly more powerful" than anything is your fight to pick (starting with me, I fear), but I do think it would be useful to provide some bullets on why it's caught on with so many folks.
That work for everyone given our new detente?

Not sure that I ever saw this....I would be happy to outline, if you think it is relevant.
