  • Memory Technique - To remember a dream or that "brilliant idea" you have in the middle of the night - instead of a notebook, pen and flashlight by the bed, take a book or magazine (or any object) from the bedside table and toss it on the floor next to the bed while remembering a keyword or phrase to remember your idea by. When you wake up you'll see the "displaced object" and (one hopes) associate it with the concept/dream/idea you wanted to remember. --User:mrclean
  • Remember your Dream Drink a very large glass of water before you go to bed. You'll have to get up in the middle of the night, which often interrupts your dream, which you can then keep. Also, keep a voice activated tape recorder by your bed, which you can grab in the middle of the night, in the dark, without having the find the buttons. Tell it your dream.
