  • Sometimes you have a range of things to remember. Work out how many things you have to remember, and keep that number in mind. That way, you can quickly check if you've forgotten something. --Akchizar 02:13, 22 Mar 2005 (EST)
  • This works great when ordering takeout or at a fast food counter ("I need three sandwiches...")--Neil 15:01, 25 Mar 2005 (EST)
  • When I need to talk to someone about more than one thing, I begin the conversation with the number of things I need to discuss—e.g. "I need to discuss four things with you"—that way we're both keeping track of where we are in the conversation. --winwintoo March 2005
  • Remembering PINs (before now I could easily do without - but now those blasted CHIP&PIN cards are too common) - I remember the pattern that the PIN makes on a standard keypad (1 top left and 9 bottom right). This way I can recall the PIN easier than trying to remember the number itself -- Chris Goldsmith 11:23, 19 May 2005 (BST)
