On your phone
From 43FoldersWiki
In Case of Emergency
- In the UK people are encouraged to have an ICE entry on their phone. ICE stands for In Case of Emergency. The entry should read:
ICE - name 012334456
This is in case you are in an accident or medical emergency the emergency services can at least call a next of kin to find out who you are!
International Format
- Always put numbers into your phone in international format, this way if you travel abroad all the contacts in your phone will 'just work' without having to think about local dialling.
For those that are unsure International Format is: +country-code areacode localnumber e.g. in the UK: Normal listing: 01234 123456 International +44 1234 123456
Generally you won't be charged any different for the call if you're 'local'
