• Movielens: Let collaborative filtering tell you which movies you will like and not like. After rating 20 or so movies, Movielens begins to give amazingly accurate predictions of whether you will like a movie or not. Can save you going to or renting movies you won't like.
  • Print a list of 4 and 5 star movies that are on video on a 3x5 card and add to your Hipster PDA to save time at the video rental store.
  • Use the "Publish Shortcuts" feature to create web pages with the ranking of all of your movies, to share with friends, link from your blog, etc. (The "numItems=all" will publish all the movies you've rated.) You can also publish seperate pages for each genre.
  • Trying to decide if you have anything in common with someone, but you've been too busy lately to see any movies? Movielens can tell you. Scrim 16:08, 24 Apr 2005 (EDT)
