Remember the Macintosh Scrapbook? Think the Microsoft Office Clipboard -- which holds more than one clip and lets you pick which one to insert -- would be useful if it worked with all your programs?

ClipMate is the answer to this productivity problem. As a lawyer, I (Mls-esq) use it every day, from inserting boilerplate paragraphs to getting the parties' names right in a contract. ClipMate is the most important productivity tool I have.

As ClipMate's brag page says, "The native clipboard in Windows is great for cutting and pasting a single item at a time, but if you want to move a series of items, or save items for later use, then you need ClipMate!" Clipmate handles text, RTF, and graphical data, is powerful enough to use for technical support or other database/knowledgebase uses, and can even share databases among different computers.

Clipmate is try-before-you-buy-ware.
