[edit] Staying a little longer

If you are going somewhere that you might like to explore on your own time, ask your employer if you can stay a bit longer. Flights that depart and return without staying over a Saturday night often have a high premium that may out weigh the cost of staying longer at the hotel. By extending your trip the employer saves money and you get a day to explore your destination. A previous employer of mine did this if we covered the extra cost of meals. --dbush 06:18, 17 Apr 2005 (EDT)

[edit] Handling Expenses

The Moleskine Memo Pocket is an excellent way to collect and, if need be, categorise on the fly your receipts when travelling on business.
